Tom Chapman

Care Team

Tom Chapman has been a vital member of our Care Team for two years, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous careers. Before joining us, Tom retired as a captain from the Grand Junction Fire Department and served as a code compliance officer within municipal government.

In his role at our funeral home, Tom is instrumental in training new Care Team members, sharing his knowledge and ensuring high standards of care. He particularly enjoys conducting long-distance transfers and guiding new team members through the intricacies of our services.

Tom's approach to helping families is profoundly shaped by his mantra: "Keep it simple." He excels in assisting people through the crucial first hour after the loss of a loved one, providing answers to their questions and offering reassurance about their concerns.

Outside of work, Tom is an avid mountain and road bicyclist, enjoys hiking and fishing, and loves spending quality time with his two grandchildren. His dedication to both his professional and personal life reflects his commitment to community and family.
