Adam Joshua Wheeler, age 24 of Fruita, Colorado, died suddenly Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Grand Junction, CO. Born March 20, 1991 in Glendale, Arizona, he was the son of Todd Wheeler of Grand Junction, CO and Rhonda Sue Wheeler of Powell, Wyoming. He had been employed as a Rough Neck in the Oil and Gas industry.
Adam was an avid wrestler, loved BMX racing and fishing, but in his adult life, Kayden was his hobby. Adam was the life of the party. He was outgoing, friendly, and a jokster who was always ready with a funny come-back. He loved his family and friends with all he had, and his son was his prize possession. Adam was a loving and giving person who was willing to give you the shirt off his back. He was always ready to help and was always willing to stand up for what is right.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his son, Kayden Jay Wheeler, two brothers, Jasper W. Wheeler (and Megan) of Cody, WY, Daniel T. Wheeler, Powell, WY, Grandparents, Dana and Tom Lichlyter, of Fruita, CO, Grandfather, Frank Wheeler, and a great aunt, Clara Nelson, both of Grand Junction, CO
