Ami Click

Ami Jean (Blassingame) Click was born May 1, 1967, in Columbus, Georgia to Tillman Roy and Anita Jean Blassingame.

Ami passed away at her home in Collbran, CO earlier this month.

Ami spent the majority of her time as a skilled carpenter.  She completed numerous home remodels and created beautiful custom wood furniture.  She had many talents and hobbies including cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, being a mechanic, ranching, horseback riding, crocheting, reading, and listening to rock, old country, and classical music.  There truly wasn’t anything she couldn’t accomplish if she set her mind to it.  She enjoyed being in the mountains and riding her horse Sis.  Ami liked nothing more than being with her friends and family.  Her laugh was contagious and was loved across the Plateau Valley.

Ami was proceeded in death by her son Jeremiah, her sister Tiffani Kennon, and her brother-in-law Will Kennon.

Ami is survived by her mother Anita (Mike) Hughes, her father Tillman Blassingame, daughters Hanna (Keith) and Morgan Hightower, brother Chuck Blassingame, nephew Lucas (Cheryl) Montoya, niece Felicia (Jake) Cresswell, nephew Cody Blassingame and niece Karli Blassingame.

She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

There will be a memorial service May 14, 2022 at the Collbran Auditorium at 3 pm. There will be another memorial service later this summer in New Mexico, where her ashes will be laid to rest next to her son and sister.
