Blaine Eastwood

July 6, 1948 — April 23, 2022

Blaine Arthur Eastwood, age 73, died April 23, 2022 following a long illness.  Born July 6, 1948 in Longmont, Colorado.  He was the son of the late Ronald and Elemetta Eastwood

Blaine attended Estes Park High School in Colorado.  He then joined the United States Marine Corps in 1965.  He was a decorated Veteran of the Corps having served three tours in the Vietnam War ending his service as a Staff Sergeant.

After his service, Blaine attended Cal Tech University earning a degree in Engineering where he went to work for Boeing as a structural Engineer for a number of years.  It was in California where he had an epiphany of sorts and had a desire to see all of this beautiful country, so he went to work as a heavy haul truck driver going coast to coast and border to border for 20 years.

Blaine was an avid fisherman and woodworker, which in the last years of his life included building a handcrafted 16 foot wooden fishing boat.

Blaine was loved by all.  He was a faithful, loving, caring man that would do anything for anybody.  He was also a hardworking man, dedicated to his family and love for his country.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Elemetta, Father Ronald, Sister Sherry, Brother Mark and Son Shannon.

Blaine is survived by his wife, Christine, Brother Jeffrey, Daughters; Danielle (David) and Claire (Keith) and Sons: Steven (Heather), Lance (Emily), John (Autumn), Ian, Stephen (Michelle) and James (Amber).  He had 18 Grandchildren and 7 Greatgrandchildren.
