Chase Alan Van Hart Harding, age 23, was born to Stan Harding and Staci Dunning on December 18, 1997 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He left our world on Tuesday, November the 23rd. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn Alan Dunning and his grandmother Margaret Whitetree Dunning. He is survived by his father Stan Harding, his mother Staci Dunning, his brother Clayton Harding and his wife Marisella Rodriguez, his sister Clarisse Harding, and half-brother Jacob Bambic.
Chase was a beautiful soul who always wore his heart on his sleeve. If anyone ever needed help or wanted someone to listen, he was always there and willing. Words cannot do justice to Chase’s impact on everyone that had the privilege of knowing him. That included friends, family, and even strangers that crossed paths with him. Chase was also brave and so courageous. No matter what, Chase always took that first step to better his life and everyone’s around him. He pushed himself to his full potential every time he went out to do something. This inspired others to become more like him and be his friend.
Chase loved his heritage, and was proud to be a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation. He collected things from his tribe and learned everything he could through his tribe members and family. He also loved Colorado, and loved doing out door activities. These activities included hiking, swimming, and skateboarding. Being very competitive and a excellent leaner, Chase pushed himself to earn first place in skate boarding competitions. Not only did he earn first place in outdoor activities, he also placed first in swimming and wrestling during his high school years.
Chase Bug will be missed and loved so dearly by everyone. His spirit will live on through all of us as we get through this together. Chase will always be known as a strong, loving, caring, passionate, human being.
Rest In Peace our darling Chase Bug, you will forever be loved and missed. Nothing will ever fill this hole in our hearts and lives.
