Gwen E. Hoss, born of Indianapolis, IN, on July 7th, 1940, has gone home to be with her Lord on November 27th, 2021, in Grand Junction, CO, of natural causes. Gwen was preceded by her husband, John W. Hoss. They will likely be drinking Mai Tai's on a Hawaiian beach in heaven.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey W. Hoss, and his wife, Jenifer, their two children and granddaughter. Her daughter, Jacqueline M. Kincade, and her husband, Russel. Her stepdaughter, Linda Hoss-Moldenhauer, her husband, Doug, three kids, and two grandkids, and many long-time family friends, who will all miss her dearly.
Her great loves in life aside from her family were her many animals, Hawaii and Frank Sinatra, and Stephen King novels. She was a woman who lived a whole life before settling down with her family. She had stories of living in Germany and traveling. At one time, Gwen liked to write western stories and said to have written two mid-length novels both lost to the world over time.
A service for Gwen will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on, December 4th at 10:00 am to honor her memory and send to the Lord with prayers and song.
