Patrick Hopkins

On March 27, 2020, after a 2 year battle with cancer Pat Hopkins returned to the light and love of God.  He was born September 22, 1949, to Claude Hopkins and Helen (Taylor) Hopkins, now Helen Burns.  He is survived by his mother, his wife Betty and son by marriage, Kerry (KC) as well as his remaining siblings: Jay, Sherrie and Chris; half-siblings Roylene and Roy Gene, step-brother, Craig and many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Pat was a good man, honest, generous and kind.  He worked hard, played hard and enjoyed helping people, friends, neighbors and strangers. He had many good friends and wonderful neighbors.  His fur family will miss him too.  He loved to fish, enjoyed hunting, golf and traveling.  He had a wicked, dry sense of humor and a ready smile.  Patrick served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  For now he's just down the river a ways fishing with Dad and brother Barry, waiting for us to join them.  He will be missed.
