Patrick Johnson

March 18, 1968 — March 12, 2016

Patrick Bryan Johnson, age 47, formally of Benton, Kansas and Kansas City, passed away March 12, 2016.

Patrick was a well-respected traveling nurse, most recently working at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho and was previously with the University of New Mexico and University of Kansas Medical Centers. He graduated from Benton Grade School and Circle High School before going to Newman University in Wichita, KS for medical-focused studies. While at Circle High he traveled to Europe to sing and shortly thereafter started to enjoy his life-long interest in cycling and exploring the outdoors.  He was an avid Royals and KU basketball fan.  He found his calling to serve others through the honorable field of nursing, where he made many dear friends and was a positive touch to the lives of both patients and co-workers.

He was born to his loving parents Daryl and Sue Johnson of Benton, Kansas who survive him along with his older sister Suzanne Johnson (Stanley Crocker), Catonsville, MD and younger sister Lisa Doyle (Ron) and their children Madeleine and Lila of Denver, CO. Also surviving is his younger brother, Andrew Johnson (Tamara), and their children Easton, Aria and Annabelle of Whitewright, TX. His nine year-old dog, Hank, will now live with Andy.  Many dear Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends will miss him.

Services will be held Monday, March 21st at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 123 N. Andover Road, Andover, KS, 67002. The Rosary starts at 10:30 AM and the Funeral Liturgy is at 11:00 AM.

Memorial donations may be made to The Lord’s Diner; 520 N Broadway St., Wichita, KS 67214.
