Raymond Verzani

Raymond Ralph Verzani, age 60 of Grand Junction, Colorado, died Monday, August 3rd, 2015 at St Mary's Hospital. Born October 22, 1954 in Cedar City, Utah, he was the son of Ray Roy Verzani of Las Vegas and the late Stella Marie Frontera Verzani. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of a Trucking Company for a time and later was a truck driver for a road construction company. He liked fishing and hunting and was a member of the VFW and the Eagles Club. Ray found and married the love of his life, Nancy Lee Lucero, and they have been happily married for 35 years. In addition to his father, and his wife, Ray is survived by a daughter, Jeri Rumsey, of Las Vegas, NV and three son, Carl Verzani and Nick Martinez of Grand Junction, CO and Ray Anthony Verzani of Las Vegas, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 11 until 3 p.m. at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction, Colorado near the tennis courts.
