Richard Lee Bartell 6//4/1950 – 4/13/2015 PAPA Richard was born in Wyandotte, Mi to Wilbert V. Bartell and Arlene J Cherry, he was the third born of four children. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, 2 daughters Sharity (James), Chelsea (Rick), 4 grand children and his 3 siblings. His oldest sister Judy (Al) Williams, Roger (Maddy) Bartell and Lori Gonzales. He met Mary Jo Menze in the spring of 1983 and they Married on May 4, 1984, from this union they were blessed with two beautiful daughters who where the light of his life, at least until his grand children arrived. His first born daughter Sharity blessed him with his 1st grandson Nikolas and 1st granddaughter Aaleyah. His second born daughter Chelsea blessed him with two more grandsons, Shase and Graison. Rich got his dune buggy in 1998 it was Pure Fun as he would say. People would stop and ask him to sell it and the answer was always NO and my wife will not let me.. It brought him so much joy and fun and he always had the best time when his grand kids where riding around with him. With Rich it was never about the flash or the flair it was always just about having fun. Rich enjoyed so many things, golf and wearing his plus fours (knickers) in tournaments and the attention he received from them, racing, spending time with his family. Rich was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, he started his service September 25th 1969 and finished his service honorably August 3rd 1975.
