How can I begin to describe who my husband was? How can I put into words all that he represented, all that he achieved, all that he did and wanted to do. Adam Levi Trumbo was born on July 11th, 1978. I met him in april of 2000, while attending Mesa State College. He was kind, friendly and we were instantly best friends.
He graduated from Hyland Christian School in 1996. We were married on july 6, 2002. He went on to finish 2 bachelor's degrees from CMU in Geology & Chemistry. He was passionate about his children and loved them from the moment they were born. He wasn't flippant about the names he wanted for his children. Josiah Malachi was born on October 28th, 2005, Solomon Emmanuel on June 10th 2009, and Hezekiah Gideon on July 2nd 2012. He was a powerful, larger than life man, he was strong, hardworking, committed and determined and done whatever he needed to do for me and his children. He would envelope his boys in his lap, wrap his arms around them and say "my boys, my boys, my boys." He loved science, rocks and he loved Jesus Christ with all his heart and was God's perfect gift to me. I was privileged to be married to him for 16 years and to have had his babies. He is sitting at Jesus' feet now, in perfection, in utter peace, and all that he ever wanted to know and learn is now his.
I always told him that if all he ever achieved in this life was to have been a good husband & father, then he would have succeeded in his live. Our marriage was real, it was authentic, it was raw and sometimes pretty stinking messy but oh how much I loved him.
