Albert Sidney Hanson died on November 25th 2018. Our dear Sid died after a courageous 14-year struggle with cancer. He served as a USN Commander during the WW2 Pacific war. He served on the USS Corregidor a ship that survived numerous close aircraft attacks
Sid earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Minnesota and spent most of his career with The Boeing Aircraft Company, retiring as Director of Marketing Management, 747 division.
He was active in civic affairs including 14 years as a city treasurer for Clyde Hill, WA. He was the first major of Mill Creek, WA, and governor appointed member of the boundary review BOD for Washington State.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, He was pre-deceased by his son Marshall Hanson, and survived by hi sister, Audrey Warren, wife Mavis, daughter Terrianne Warner, and Grand Daughters Loren & Sidney Hanson.
