Albert Trujillo

Albert A Trujillo Jr. passed away November 15th, 2021, at the age of 67 due to Covid-19.

Albert was born April 19th, 1954, in Grand Junction, CO to Albert Trujillo Sr. and Mary C Trujillo (Atencio).

Albert was known by many as Uncle Sonny, Sonny, Big Al and GK. Albert did many jobs throughout his life from concrete, to sheetrock, to cooking in the wildfires and being a bouncer at the Double R Bar. Albert enjoyed many things from his tattoos, softball, fishing, crafts, the Raiders and hanging out with his friends and family.

Albert was blessed with being able to receive a Kidney Transplant 11 years ago from a donor, who he became good friends with after the surgery.

Albert is survived by one son, Robert (Bobby) Paul, two sisters, Marie Gallegos (Joseph Gallegos, deceased) and Patricia Scultz (Leroy Schultz), and one brother-in-law, Les Beard. Albert is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephew and nieces.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sr., and Mary C Trujillo, and one sister Louise Beard.

Albert will be missed greatly by all. A service will be held at a later date.
