Allen Leroy Olford, age 66, of Grand Junction, CO passed away September 13th, 2014 at his residence in Grand Junction. Born January 27th, 1948 in Grand Junction, he was the son of the late George Leo and Gladys Lucille Trinklein Olford. He graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1966. A typical Colorado boy, Allen loved pretty women, fast cars and Coors beer. One of the highlights of his younger years was being the owner of a beautiful 1969 Camaro, SS Convertible. Following his father's failing health, Allen took over the house painting company that his father started, "Olford's House Painting" business. Though he didn't share his sentimental side with many, he loved nature - especially the pine forests near Grand Junction. After a time of solitude among the tall trees, he would often leave a pine cone on the headstone of his parents. A silent message of his love and remembrance. He is survived by, his daughter, Theresa (Rick) Balino,and two granddaughters, Tristin and Ciana Balino, all of Tamarac, FL his partner in life, Diana Lynn Miles, of Grand Junction, a brother-in-law, Frank Webber, a nephew, Robyn Webber, both of Grand Junction, CO, and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
