Alyssa, passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 21, after a long battle with seizures.

Alyssa lives on through her parents, Malissa and Eddie Stewart of Grand Junction Colorado; sister, Jacyne (Chris) Bowers-Harvey; three brothers, Wyatt Bowers, Ryan (Emile) Alderman, and Austin(Ashley) Stewart; her grandparents, Ed and Marie Jalbert, Eddie and Cheryl Stewart, great grandparents, Doug and Rosemary Henson; godparents Michelle and Leonard Horton, her Aunt Melinda and Uncle Nick O’Neill; nephew Justin Bowers; niece McKenna Bowers and unborn niece (due December 2022); cousins; Jade, Naya, and Brooklyn Horton, Christopher, Braydon and Bennett O’Neill; best friend Tessa Rydstorm and her emotional support dog, Bailey Mae.

Alyssa’s journey began in Glenwood Springs, CO. At a young age she and her family moved to Grand Junction where she graduated from Central High school in May 2019. Alyssa was proud a member the Color guard, Several Choirs and the Football manager. She received high honors in Choir while also lettering in Color guard, Choir, and as football manager. While Alyssa wasn’t participating in after school activities  or hanging out with her friends she loved being outdoors. Alyssa loved to camp, swim, ride on the side by sides and going for long walks to clear her mind and cleanse her soul.

Alyssa is known for her amazing heart and soul. She loved everyone and was there when someone needed her. Alyssa had a passion for singing, dancing, tattoos, make-up and art. Alyssa lit up a room with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She never disappointed with her corny jokes. The love that Alyssa poured into this world made it a brighter place.
