Ann Sanburg

Ann Jeannette Sanburg, age 76 died the fifth of January 2018 following a sudden illness. Born July 27, 1941 in Gatesville, TX, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lena Franks of Montrose, CO. Jeannette graduated Montrose High School and then attended Mary Hardin Baylor College in Waco, TX. Jeannette attended the Grand Junction Church of Christ and was a member of the Grand Valley Porcelain Artists club. She enjoyed china painting, quilting, sewing, cooking, birdwatching, roses and traveling. Jeannette was a Godly woman who enjoyed her family and her friends. She always would lend a helping hand. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband Bryce, her brother Skip and her parents Ray and Lena Franks. Jeannette is survived by her brother Ron Franks (Trisha) of Montrose, her daughters, Carol Wells (Gale) of Gunnison, Kathy Higgins (Chris) of Highlands Ranch, Patty Jensen (Charlie) of Clifton and Susie Palmer (Doug) of Meeker. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at the Grand Junction church of Christ, 2893 Patterson Road, at 11:00 a.m. on January 8, 2018.
