Anthony Dusbabek

August 20, 1967 — June 16, 2020

Anthony “Tony” John Dusbabek of Clifton, died at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his family.  Tony was born August 20, 1967 at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO to Robert Lawrence Dusbabek and MaryAnn Dusbabek (Vernon).

Tony attended schools in Grand Junction and graduated from R-5 High School in 1985.  He shared, with his siblings, a love for sports.  He was an avid bowler, baseball player, and he was fond of his teams when he played at Orchard Mesa Little League.

After High School, Tony was employed in a variety of jobs in the construction field and especially enjoyed working with concrete.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the great Colorado outdoors.  He was also a lifelong fan of both the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos and could often be seen wearing his favorite Peyton Manning jersey. Tony had a deep love for music, especially the 80’s rock bands he grew up listening to.
Tony was a kind soul with a warm spirit, and he made friends quite easily.  He remained close to his family his entire life and cherished the time he spent with them.
Tony is survived by his mother MaryAnn, brothers Robert James and David, and his sister Teresa, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.  He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert Lawrence Dusbabek.

Tony was cremated and no services are planned.  He spent the last years of his life at the Peachtree Assisted Living in Clifton. Peachtree helps those with mental disabilities and Tony made many friends there.  Those who want to honor Tony’s memory are requested to make donations to Peachtree Assisted Living, 3450 F Road, Clifton, CO 81520 in his name.
