Anthony Ybarra

February 6, 1937 — December 30, 2021

Anthony Robledo Ybarra born on February 6, 1937, to Rosalio Ybarra and Jaunita Robledo. Though born in Big Springs, Texas he grew up in San Jose California when the family moved from Texas to California in 1943. Where he worked hard as a farm worker while attending school, Anthony graduated from San Jose tech as a machinist in 1955 and joined the U.S. Marine corps! He married Mary Helen Silva on March 13, 1957, and they divorced on May 15, 2009. He had 5 sons and 1 daughter Tony Ybarra, Michael J. Ybarra wife (Shauna) Edward Ybarra, Frances Lucero husband (Jose) Andrew Ybarra all of Grand Junction, Colorado and Edmond Ybarra wife (Petra) from Avon Colorado he had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren!

He is survived by his brothers Francisco Ybarra, James (Jimmy) Ybarra, Alfred Ybarra, Arthuro Ybarra, Victor Ybarra, and Edward Ybarra, sisters Lucy Gaska, and Geraldine (Petra) Serna all of California.

He was preceded in death by his Father Rosalio and mother Jaunita Ybarra grandson Jose D. Ybarra sisters Jesusita Baijen and Eva Tapia, brothers Charles Ybarra, Ralph Ybarra, and Daniel Ybarra.

He loved spending time with his family especially with his sons! He loved playing soft ball and he loved hunting, fishing, camping riding his ATV out in the mountains. He loved and was addicted to guns he was practically a gun smith loved reloading ammunition especially for his sons and family. He enjoyed shopping in pawn shops he made it a pastime always looking to buy more guns, knives, gold, and jewelry! He spent hours watching old western movies and Football, but he would never miss any pro tennis matches. He would even get up at 3:00 am to watch it live, especially the grand slam!

He was a member of NRA & Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation he will be missed dearly by all that loved him and knew him! God must have needed another Spanish angel as he took our angel home!
