Arlene Mudge

January 2, 1926 - September 29, 2018

June Mudge would like to let you know that her work here was done on September 29, 2018. She received an offer from the Lord she could not refuse. This offer came with a sign-on bonus that, after 92 years, there would be a joyous reunion of seeing so many loved ones who passed before her. She especially looked forward to reuniting with her husband, Bob, and grandson, Daniel.

Born January 2, 1926, as the youngest with 3 older brothers, she had a childhood in California and Colorado but was a true native of the Grand Valley since age 6. June graduated in 1945 from high school, married Bob, raised her children and later retired from the Regional Center. June was proud of her roots in the Grand Valley.

June's primary mission in life was taking care of her family and friends. Her son Danny (Candace) Mudge, daughter Cindy (Mark) Hoppe, and grandchildren Jennifer (Jason) Kelley, Valorie Hoppe, and Brittany Hoppe have been left with wonderful memories of 'Grammy June'. She especially loved visits with her two great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Charlie.

Family thanks the staff at Mantey Heights and HopeWest for their loving care. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take time to honor June by visiting an aging friend or hosting a family dinner. At her request, after cremation, there will be a small family gathering at Palisade Cemetery. January 2, 1926 - September 29, 2018
