Barbara Booher

February 9, 1937 — February 12, 2023

Barbara Ann Booher was born to Mildred and Ralph Harrell on February 9, 1937, in Thedford, Nebraska, and passed away on February 12, 2023 in Grand Junction, CO.  She grew up and attended schools in Thedford and had many happy memories of her childhood.

She married David Booher in 1956 and they had two sons, Randy and Scott.  The Booher's lived in South Dakota, Aurora, Colorado, and Grand Junction, Colorado.

Barbara worked most recently with her husband in the dental labs but had also served as an assistant in the Assemblies of God District office in Grand Junction.

She was a member of Assemblies of God churches all of her life.

She especially enjoyed helping her brother, Gordy, in his large garden, and loved fresh fruit and vegetables.

Barb's remaining family saw her as a strong woman of faith.  She survived the loss of both children and a granddaughter.  She also survived breast cancer and two strokes.

Barb was preceded in death by her sons - Randy Booher and Scott Booher, and a granddaughter, Andrea Booher.

Surviving her are her brother, Gordon Harrell (Virla) daughters in law, Susan Booher and Sherry Booher, granddaughters: Nicole Free (John) Chelsea River (Garrett) Angela Johnson and great grandchildren, McKenna River, Hayden River, Madelyn Free, Wyatt Johnson, Nora River and Brynn Johnson

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 2 p.m. at  Victory Life Church Family Room, 2066 Hwy 50, Fruita, CO
