Barbara Milburn

Barbara Joyce Milburn, age 76 was called home to Jesus on December 20, 2019 at HopeWest Hospice.  She was the middle child of Loretta (Hallinan) Bott and Philip Bott.

Barbara was a beloved wife, mother and teacher.  She began her teaching career in Hugo, CO teaching home economics and kindergarten where she met her darling husband, Walter and his three children.  They were married in 1967 and added two more daughters to their family.  They later moved to Grand Junction where Barbara worked in the children's section of the Mesa County Library, and then continued her teaching career at Messiah Lutheran School, Broadway Elementary and Nisley Elementary until her retirement.

Barbara remained in contact with many of her former students, their parents and co-workers who became close friends and honorary family members.

Barbara is survived by her husband Walter Eugene Milburn and all of their children.  Jennifer, Mila Michelle, Therese, Bryan and Allen.  Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers John Bott and Kenneth Bott.
