Beth Marie Elston

Beth M. Elston, age 81, died January 11, 2024. She passed away at HopeWest in Grand Junction, Colorado with family by her side.  

Beth was born on June 8, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Archie and Ethel Alexander. She grew up in Englewood, Colorado where she attended Englewood High School.  

Beth met Robert and they soon married.  They started their family and had Lynn.   

Family was important to Beth.  She would host holidays and other family gatherings.  She helped raise her grandchildren Stephanie and Jarrod.   

She loved watching the Broncos and was season ticket holders for many years before moving the Valley.  She enjoyed traveling and exploring Colorado.   

She was very proud of her Colorado roots and how her family was here in the development of Colorado as a state.  

She was a good sister to Lila.  They would spend time with each other whether it was shopping, having dinner, or cocktail hour which turned into morning coffee.   

Beth is survived by her husband Robert, sister Lila Woodward, grandchildren Stephanie Wenholz and her husband Clinton, Jarrod Castillo and his wife Carly, her great grandchildren Michael, Kendra, Jaysce, Leilani, Araiya, and Izri.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
