Beverly passed from this world on the afternoon of Friday, October 22nd. Her departure was sudden and heartbreaking. She leaves behind daughter, Isabel Lucero; Sons Eric, Bruce, and Brian Peasley, and Brother Steven Brown. She was beloved by many close friends who will miss her dearly.
Those who knew Beverly knew her to be an adventurous individual who never backed down. She was a risk taker who leapt first asked questions later. She lived a spontaneous life to say the least. This was a woman who spent the better part of her twenties on the back of a motorcycle and a chunk of her fifties on the road driving trucks. Between and after she spent years working as a caregiver. She was a kind, warm hearted, generous person who helped even when it was bad for her health. In her life time she called four states home and was making the final voyage back to Kansas City when she got sick.
Beverly was getting ready to turn over a new page in her story when she was taken from us. She had a heart attack and won. Battled lung cancer and won. She didn't let her COPD or her congenital heart failure slow her down either. Well, maybe a little bit. She fought bravely against this virus and ultimately lost. Yet she was strong in her faith and was a newly baptized Jehovah's Witness. She would want us to remember that death is only temporary and we will see her again. Beverly Sue Moore will never be forgotten, her memory will live on through us.
