Beverly Skogen

Beverly Baker Skogen, age 92, passed away suddenly February 4, 2021.  For nearly 72 years, she was the beloved wife of Dr. Haven S. Skogen. They married February 19, 1949 after knowing each other as neighbors during their childhood.

As a couple, they shared a love of travel.   Over the years they enjoyed living in several different states and touring Europe a number of times. In 1975 they settled in Grand Junction, Colorado where they spent much free time exploring their new mountainous surroundings. Beverly became active in the Grand Junction Lioness Club and for several years was instrumental in organizing the Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Haven, son, Scott, daughter-in-law, Donna, and grandchildren, Katelyn, and Gordan”..
