Billy Cook

Billy Sharrild Cook, age 84, died April 28, 2018 at Bee Hive Assisted Living.

Born September 6, 1933 in Anderson, MO, he was the son of the late Worn Samuel and Esther Waymie Cook.  He graduated from Rocky Comfort High School in MO.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army,  having served as Specialist Third Class.  He was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 32 years.

He was a very friendly and outgoing person who loved hiking and the outdoors.

Survivors include two sons, Bruce (Shelly) Cook, Grand Junction, and Ronald Cook, Lake Ariel, PA, one daughter, Farrin (Michael) Barbato of Fruita, CO, a brother, Jay W. Cook of Joplin, MO and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will full Military Honors will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, May 3, 2018  the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
