Boyd Lee Grady, 66, of Grand Junction passed away September 30, 2018 at his home. Boyd was born March 19,1952, to Dale & Violet (Luella) Grady in Warren, PA. Boyd spent his childhood in Youngsville, PA, where he attended school and graduated from Youngsville High School.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:00am Saturday, October 6 th , 2018 at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service. Immediately following the services, a reception will take place in The Garden Room at the Commons of Hilltop.
Boyd met Marilyn Emert in Palisade, CO, and were married June 9, 1978, in Colorado Springs. Boyd and Marilyn moved to the Grand Junction area shortly after. Boyd was a Plumber by trade. His life long career was spent as a Plumber in Grand Junction, CO. Most recently Boyd was the owner & operator of his own Plumbing Business.
Boyd enjoyed horses, trail rides, hunting, fishing, gardening, and wood work. Boyd owned horses and hunting hound dogs most of his life. Boyd loved to go hunting every chance he had. He hunted deer, elk, bear, turkey, rabbits, bobcats, and mountain lions. He enjoyed sharing his love and teaching others his hobbies of hunting, fishing and gardening.
Boyd is survived by his wife, Marilyn Grady; daughter, Christina Grady; son, Samuel Miles Grady; grandchildren, Krislynn Grady, Trystin Grady, Armani Grady; brothers, Dennis Grady (Myanh) of Colorado Springs and Norman Grady of Grand Junction; niece, Victoria Behmer of Colorado Springs; nephews, Jesse Grady, Marcel Grady, Dominic Grady; niece, Sara Grady. Proceeding Boyd’s death were his nephew, Jonathan Grady of Belle Fouche, SD and parents Dale & Violet (Luella) Grady of Youngsville, PA.
