Brenda Myrtle Wrightsman
Our sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on April 23, 2020 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Brenda was born in Gunnison, Utah on June 7, 1938 to Daniel and Myrtle Argyle.
Brenda was a homemaker for much of her life. She wished to remain active and was employed by Walmart, where she retired.
Brenda cherished spending her time with family and friends. One of her favorite activities was meeting friends for potluck at “Club” on the Cimarron. She enjoyed spending summers on Ragged Mountain with her companion and friend Charles (Chuck) Burgin. She loved to have her hair and nails done, dance to her favorite country-western songs, bake goodies for her loved ones, and drive her car to visit with friends.
The center of her world was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. She was generous and kind-hearted. She was always thinking of and placing other’s needs before her own.
She will be truly missed. Heaven has gained another angel.
Brenda is survived by her son, Danny (Joellen) McIntyre; daughter, Dana Worsham; son, Richard Wrightsman; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11am at the Elmwood Cemetery Fruita, Colorado
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions in Brenda’s name to Hope West Hospice of Grand Junction or a tribute gift to the Alzheimer’s Association.
