Carla Gomez

Carla Jo Gomez was born October 1st, 1966 and passed away December 17th, 2021. She was 55. Carla enjoyed being a wife, mother, sister, and a grandma. She loved to fish, hunt for pinon nuts, listen to New Mexico music, attend dance concerts and make crafts. Carla was very talented in being a nurse, cooking, baking, canning, and preserving.

Carla embraced her family roots being from New Mexico. Her father, Joseph A. Harris and her mother, Alice M. Abeyta married and moved to Colorado where Carla has been a Colorado native her entire life. Carla loved her husband, Pete Gomez and her daughters Renee, Jaqueline, and Stacy. Carla's life was truly a joy with all her grandchildren, who she cherished the most. Carla was a devout Catholic and was commited to her faith. Carla will be missed dearly by everyone she touched.

Services will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 628 Meeker St, Delta, CO 81416, Wednesday December 29th, 2021 at 1pm with graveside ceremonies to follow at Delta City Cemetery.
