On February 8th, 2024, Carla Lorena Romero, age 41, was finally called home while in the presence of her two children after a long fight with many illness’.
Born November 4th, 1982 in Grand Junction, CO, she was the daughter of Lorenzo Robles and the late Darlene “Dalia” Vicky Robles.
She is survived by her five brothers, Raymond Salazar, Carlos Salazar, and Albert Salazar, Pedro Carbajal, and Lalo Carbajal; her 3 sisters Juanita Romero, Brenda Mendoza, and Adriana Martinez; her son Mario Lorenzo Romero; daughter Adamari Josefina Valenzuela; plus 2 granddaughters Emily Dalia Romero and one on the way; many nephews, and nieces. All of whom she loved and was touched by deeply.
People could say she was the strongest woman they ever met. She wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything. She loved listening and dancing to music, Laughing and sharing stories with her family. Guaranteed you knew what she was thinking, if you know you know. She had a big smile that was unforgettable.
Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her children strong values that have served them well.
Please join us to celebrate her life Saturday afternoon February 24, 2024, 1 o’clock at Junction Community Church, 2867 Orchard Ave. Burial to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, CO.
