Carmen Lee Beightel, at age 69, gracefully passed away on February 10, 2020. She lost her battle with cancer after a year of fighting. She was born on March 28, 1950 and was surpassed in death by her mother Margaret E. Selk, father Cecil Bowhay, son Dion, and granddaughter Christine Carlberg.
She was employed by the Housing Department of the U.S. Government for 33 years and she helped a lot of people get into and build their homes. Carmen also worked for 7 years with Bureau of Land Management.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She could grow anything and passed that love onto her family. Carmen enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports.
