Bultman, Carol Ann (Pettipiece) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Port St Lucie, Florida and Eden Prairie, Minnesota, age 81, passed away January 23, 2022, after a 12-year struggle with dementia.
Carol was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on February 18, 1940, the daughter of William “Bill” and Frances “Fran” Pettipiece. Carol graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels Catholic high school in Minneapolis and The Comptometer School of Minneapolis in 1958. She worked at The Zeco Company as a sales auditor early in her career. She was owner of Isles Lampshade Studio in Uptown Minneapolis beginning in the early 1970s. Carol was then a bookkeeper for the family business, Royal Coin Vending, for many years, before retiring to Florida in 1997. She enjoyed working part time at the PGA Golf Club in Port St Lucie, Florida, where she made sandwiches at “the turn” on the course and drove around the refreshment cart.
Carol loved socializing, especially around the water and on boats with her husband, Tom, her many friends and neighbors and was a true friend, beloved by many. Her smile made people happy to be around her and you could count on her to be a willing listener as she was genuinely interested in all who came to know her. She is deeply missed by her family.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Frances Pettipiece, husband Thomas Bultman, sister Gail Tibbetts and step sons James and John Bultman. She is survived by her son William “Bill” Bultman (Ginny), grandson William Bultman, step daughter Jeanne Femrite (Jerry), step son Joel Bultman, as well as step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A short interment service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10:45 in the morning. Following the service, from noon to 3 o’clock in the afternoon, a memorial luncheon will be held at Fong's Chinese Restaurant at 9329 Lyndale Ave South, Bloomington, Minnesota. All are welcome!
We give a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Eagle Ridge of Grand Valley, in Grand Junction, Colorado, who enabled Carol to live her remaining days in peace and comfort. We are also grateful to Hopewest Hospice, for their thoughtful and compassionate support of Carol and our family over several years.
