Carolyn Phyllis Bowerman, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and devoted member of her community, passed away on April 29, 2024, at Vineyards Memory Care in Grand Junction, CO, after a brief illness. She was born on July 25, 1943, in Indio, CA, to her loving parents Gladys and Alex Wright.
Carolyn led a fulfilling life as a housewife and dedicated employee at HIPPY. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her career, as she was known for her kind and compassionate nature. Those who knew her well often described her as spiritual, finding solace and strength in her faith throughout her life.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for "rock hounding," spending hours exploring nature's wonders. Her generous spirit shone through in every aspect of her life, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
She is survived by her son Bob Puckett (Brenda Sullivan); brothers Wayne (Cindy) and Dan (Pam) Wright; stepchildren Paul Bowerman and April Tevis; along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Lee Bowerman and her parents.
