Cecelia Martinez

Cecelia Frances Martinez, age 87, died September 24, 2016 at her residence in Grand Junction, CO

Born February 17, 1929 in Oxford, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Fidencio Rodriguez and Maria Martinez.  She was a homemaker.

Cecilia was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed sharing in the ministry.  She was a kind and quiet person.

Survivors include her husband, Miguel A. Martinez, children, Margie Valdez (Raymond), of Denver, son, Sonny Rodriguez (Cindy), and Carmen Guizar, of Grand Junction, Fred Padilla (Rhonda), of Cortez, Josie Holguin (Manuel), Sonjia Carbajal, Victoria Valdez, all of Grand Junction, CO, Delphina Martinez (Tony) of TX, one brother, five sisters, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Dalia Salazar and Carol Charrez, and her son Manuel Rodriguez

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
