Charles (Charlie or Ed) Edward Lentz Jr. 70, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 8, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Barbara Lentz, his sister Bea Reed, daughter Carrie Kimble, son-in-law Eddie Kimble, son Charlie Lentz, daughter-in-law Amanda Lentz. 4 grandchildren, Vikkie Duplechin, Monica Serrano, Adrian Mijares and Alec Stewart,  great grand daughter Danica Duplechin and a soon to be born great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Lentz,  mother Bea Lentz and his first wife Roberta (Bobbie) Lentz.

Charlie served in the Tin Can Navy where he met his first wife Bobbie. After being discharged from the Navy they lived in California where he pursued a career as a boiler tech. They relocated to Louisiana where he purchased a bar called The Little Brown Jug and raised his family before eventually moving them all back to California and back into the boiler trade. Bobbie passed away in 1994 and Charlie moved to Arizona to attend Harley Mechanic school where he met and married his second wife Julie Olsen . After they divorced, he moved back to California, pursuing his new career as a Harley mechanic and where he re-connected with his high school sweetheart Barbara. They married and eventually moved to Colorado where they lived when he passed away.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 5765 Hwy 107 S., DuPont, Louisiana on January 30, 2021 at 10:00am.
