Charlotte A. Thomas, 84, of Clifton, Colorado passed away on January 27, 2023.
Charlotte was born on April 5, 1938 to George and Marie (Brisbin) Hoffman in Cincinnati, Ohio. She went to Hughes High School. Later she would marry Bruce Halteman and they would have 3 daughters; Brenda, Karen and Julia. She would later divorce and move to New Jersey where she was a single mom and would meet her 2nd husband Fredrick Windeler and they would have a daughter; Tracie. After his death in 1974 she met her 3rd husband Andrew Thomas and they got married in 1977. They were married for 32 years until his death in 2009.
She enjoyed doing crafts but especially sewing and knitting until arthritis took over in her hands. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved watching old shows like; Perry Mason and Murder She Wrote.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Brenda Halteman (Joseph Battaglia), Karen Halteman (Anthony Gambino), Julia Halteman (Christopher Stachura) and Tracie Windeler (Rick Keller). She had 8 Grandchildren; Brett (Infantino) and John Battaglia, Danielle and Anthony Gambino, Joseph and Alyssa Stachura, Andrew and Elizabeth Keller and; 5 Great Grandchildren Miya and Destiny Gambino, Kayden Kougt, Miles Infantino and Margot Battaglia.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her father George Hoffman, mother Marie Hoffman, sister Ruth Hoffman (Campbell), her 3 husbands Bruce Halteman, Fredrick Windeler and Andrew Thomas and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home 904 North 7th Street Grand Junction, CO. 81501. On February 7,2023 at 1:00pm
