As a child, he always wanted to be a cartoonist and enjoyed art, basketball, rollerblading, hockey, motorcycling, riding bikes, snowboarding, building things and being creative. He graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1998. Chris lost a dear friend to a hate crime and was always passionate about fighting racial hate.
