Clarice Ortego

Clarice Elaine Ortego, age 82, went to be with the lord and her loving husband the 21st day of July 2021.

Clarice was born on  April 19th, 1939 in Fruita, Colorado.  She was the daughter of the late Marvin J Thorson and Esther L Jones.

Clarice graduated from Fruita Monument High School in Fruita,  Colorado.

Clarice was employed as a checker in the retail services for 20 years.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and four wheeling.

Clarice was a very caring, outgoing, funny, generous and compassionate person.  She was always dedicated to her family and loved spending quality time with them, any chance she got and was a women of God.

Clarice was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life of 62 years Rudolph R Ortego and her her brothers Jimmy, Earl and Larry Thorson and her mom and dad.

Clarice is survived by her daughter Tina “Max” Garcia and her sons David Ortego, Robert Ortego and Rocky Ortego and her sister Ginger Thorson ”Gayle”; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

A celebration of life will be held the 31st of July 2021 at 12:30 at the Clifton Christian Church.
