Claudia Alster

Claudia Alster, of Grand Junction, Colorado died on March 11, 2015. She was 67. Claudia was born in Akron, Ohio. she moved to Frisco, Colorado in 1980 and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 2004. Claudia was an outstanding cook, a wonderful gardener, an avid boater and an enduring and selfless lover of animals of every shape and color. She enjoyed Lake Powell, music and was a voracious reader. Claudia made friends everywhere she went and had friends in every corner of the country. she would always go out of her way to help a person in need. She is predeceased in death by her parents, brother George and sister Judy. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Alster of Grand Junction as well as an aunt and uncle, several cousins, nieces and sister’s in law. A celebration of her life is planned for this coming summer, with a location to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the ASPCA or ALS organization in Claudia’s name.
