Clyde Leroy Doyal, age 74, of Grand Junction, CO passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital.
Born April 17, 1940 in Butte, MT, he was the son of the late Clifford and Georgia Fornier Doyal. He was a graduate of Fruita Union High School.
Employed as a Piping Superintendent with TIC
“The Industrial Co. of Steamboat Springs”, Clyde retired after 26 years of service. Prior to that, he had worked for CO Macco.
Clyde enjoyed golfing and often golfed with the New Comers Club of Grand Junction. He also golfed with the Senior League at Tiara Rado Golf Course.
More than anything else, Clyde, loved to fish. He’d fish the lakes and streams spring, summer and fall, and when winter came, he’d get out his ice fishing gear and find happiness waiting on a frozen surface for the perfect catch.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Daniel Doyal in 1984, and his sister, Jolene Welch.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann West Doyal of Grand Junction, four children, Gary (Nancy) Doyal, Bakersfield, CA, Douglas Doyal, Fruita, Barbara Etie and Robert (Brigitte) Rose, all of Grand Junction, two brothers, Robert (Leta) Welch, Moab, Utah and Gary (Nita) Doyal, six grandchildren Casey, Devin, Alesha, Aaron, Tanner and Danielle, and one great granddaughter, Avery. He is also survived by his former wife, Louise.
