Corben William Buniger

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Corben William Buniger, 20, of Fruita, Colorado. He was born on July 18, 2004, in Grand Junction, Colorado. 

Corben was a bright, gentle soul whose kindness and love touched the lives of all who knew him. Corben’s warmth, kindness, and caring nature were felt by all who knew him. He had an incredible ability to show love to those around him, leaving a lasting impact on friends and family. One of his greatest passions was history, and he had an immense knowledge of it, always eager to share fascinating stories and details with anyone willing to listen. His excitement about the past will be sorely missed by all. 

Corben is survived by his father and mother, Rowdy and Shanna (Cooper) Buniger, his brother Jayten Buniger, his sister Ellie Buniger. His grandparents: Paul and Kim Cooper, CynDee and Steve Skalla, and Nec Buniger, great grand parents Betty and Roland Phelps, and many aunts and uncles and cousins who will carry him in their hearts forever. 

A celebration of Corben’s life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Browns Funeral Service, with a Celebration of Life following (1:30 PM) at AP Ranch in Loma, CO. We invite all who loved him to come together in remembrance. He will be deeply missed by all of those who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
