Cordilia Martinez

Cordilia May Martinez, age 77, died March 8^th, 2023 following a brief illness.

Born June 6^th, 1945 in Los Djos, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Jose Sixto Garcia and Maria Priscilla Garcia.

Cordilia completed the 8^th grade of her education and went on to work as a skilled cook in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed cooking for her family, cruising, and ranching. Cordilia will be remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality and the hardworking attitude and kindness she always showed to others.

Cordilia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her two sisters, and her son-in-law. She is survived by her children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held in Cordilia’s honor this coming Summer 2023.
