Crystal Lange

Crystal Christina Lange, 45, passed away peacefully Monday, November 9, 2020 in Grand Junction, CO due to a stroke suffered on September 1, 2020. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, April 10, 1975 to Elizabeth Ann Mondragon, and Simplicio David Rocha Jr. She grew up in the small town of Estancia, NM, and moved between several little towns throughout New Mexico until eventually relocating to Colorado in 1989. Crystal attended Bookcliff and Orchard Mesa Middle School, then graduated from Central High School in 1995. In 1995 she also had her first, and only child, Stephanie.

Crystal loved to be outdoors, whether she was fishing, hiking, or just enjoying nature. She saw the beauty in everything around her. She loved cats, particularly her cat “Coalie”. She was the most kind and generous soul one could be blessed to meet and did not have a single mean bone in her body. Crystal was truly an angel on this earth. She loved and cared about everyone and would do anything she possibly could to help someone in hard times. She went through many hard times herself, but she never let it get down her spirits or change the kind, loving person she was.

Crystal is survived by her Husband Jason Lange, Daughter Stephanie Marie Ann Christina Balerio, Granddaughter Carson Isabelle Bauer, Mother Elizabeth Ann Mondragon, and Sister Justine Isabel Mondragon. She is preceded in death by her father Simplicio David Rocha Jr.
