Crystal Meadors-Cook

Crystal Gayle (Meadors) Cook, age 45, died November 11, 2021, from COVID.

Born February 26, 1976, she was the daughter of Andy and Joyce Meadors of Kingston, Arkansas. Crystal attended Caldwell Parish schools in Columbia, Louisiana, but graduated from Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Texas.

She had been employed in different managerial positions in the oil field for various companies for a number of years.

Crystal was an avid hunter, camper, and outdoorswoman. She was smart, funny, and the life of any party she attended. She was a great friend, niece, and aunt to many. She was a devoted wife to Chris. She was a dedicated and proud mother to their three children.

Crystal was pre-deceased in death by her aunt Lynne Meadors (Grayson, LA), and her grandparents: Jimmy and Gayle Barton (Hebert, LA), Myrtis Meadors (Charles) Murphy (Columbia, LA), and Jack Meadors (Grayson, LA).

She is survived by her husband, Chris, and her three children: Shelby Madison Sears, age 19 (Fayetteville, AR), Alexis Rae “Daisy” Springsteel, age 14 (Grand Junction, CO) and, Zachary Andrew “Shooter” Springsteel, age 12 (Grand Junction, CO). Her great-uncle Charles (Gwen) Meador (Hebert, LA). Her parents Andy and Joyce Meadors (Kingston, AR), her brother Jimmy Ray Meadors (Kingston, AR), her nephew Jase Meadors (Fayetteville, AR), her nephew Charlie Meadors (Fayetteville, AR), her niece Destinie Meadors (Cordell Haby) (Kansas City, MO), her great-niece Dally Haby, her great-nephew Roper Dean Haby (Kansas City, MO), her niece Maycee (Nick) Slinkard (Hogeye, AR), and her sister Mandy Meadors (Clarksville, AR).

She is also survived by her beloved aunts: Pamela (Glenn) Guillory (Grayson, LA), Debbie (Billy Jack) Trichelle (Monroe, LA), Theresa (Bonner) Wooldridge (Ft. Necessity, LA), Cindy (James) Talbert (Columbia, LA), Sarah Meadors (Grayson, LA), and a host of first and second cousins whom she loved very much.

Memorial services will be held this spring.
