Curtis Beaittie

Curtis John Beaittie, 38, died Wednesday the 7th of December, 2022. His passing was natural, sudden, and unexpected.

Born November 2nd, 1984 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the beloved son of the late Jerry Beaittie and Wendy Beaittie of Grand Junction, Colorado. Curtis had been employed as a Mail Handler of the United States Postal Service for 14+ years. He took great pride in his work both as a Bargaining Unit Employee and as an active member and President of the local Mail Handler's Union.

Curtis kept emotions close to his chest but was passionate about the things and people he loved. In his spare time, Curtis enjoyed activities such as fishing, camping, target shooting and playing video games. He was an active member and moderator for several online communities.

Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Beaittie.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Wendy Sue Beaittie, his brother, Kyle Wayne (Annie) Beaittie, and his beloved cat, Monster. Curtis also is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

There will be no formal services at this time, however, his family has planned a Celebration of Life event for Sunday, December the 18th, 2022 in Grand Junction, Colorado. The event will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 5 P.M. at 590 Greenfield Circle West, Grand Junction, Colorado 81504.
