Cynthia Kitson

Cynthia, the youngest of five, born to Louis (Gene) and Leah Kitson in Delta, Colorado. Her formative years was mostly spent in Parachute and Grand Junction, Colorado, where she was surrounded by and developed a deep love for her family that would shape her life. Cynthia’s adult life was spent making friends and spreading kindness, as she bounced between Grand Junction, Colorado and Anchorage, Alaska. She is fondly remembered for her smile, love of family (related or not), acts of kindness and maintaining connections with nearly everyone she has ever met. Early on August 5th, 2021, Cynthia passed in her sleep at home in Fruita, Colorado.

Per her request, Cynthia was laid with her grandparents and father in a private ceremony attended by her mother, siblings and their families. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

With the understanding that her extended family and many friends also need a chance for closure, Cynthia’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life on September 18th. Details to be announced.
