Cynthia Winters

Cynthia "Sandy" Lee Winters, 71, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 14, 2017. She was born on September 10, 1946 to the late Opal Jones and Clark West, of Victoria, Texas. She is survived by her loving mate, Gene winters of Grand Junction, two sons, Ron Mallett of Rangely and Travis Winters of Grand Junction; on daughter, Holly Carter of Palisade; one step daughter, Vickie Brown; two step granddaughters, Brooke and Bailey Brown all of Florida; two granddaughters Elleney Prodromides and Trinyti Mills, both of Grand Junction; two brothers, John and George, both of Texas; and three sisters, Patty, Jesslyn and Joycelyn, all of Texas. Sandy had multiple occupations throughout her life: beautician, cook, restaurant manager, care taker, and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, canning, art and crafts, sewing and animals. She was a sportswomen  of various wildlife. She was a very loving and caring mother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
