Dale Eugene Campbell

July 14, 1928 – July 11, 2018

Dale Eugene Campbell was born to Leslie and Rose (Bailey) Campbell in Paonia Colorado and entered heaven July 11, 2018.

He loved his family, fishing, tractors, racing and puttering in his beloved garage. He was quite possibly the sweetest man to walk this earth.  He was a miner and sheepherder before working for Mountain Bell for 32 years. Dale was an Army Veteran and served during the Korean War.

Dale raised four children with his wife of 68 years, Nina Mae (Allen). Dale and Nina lived in Colorado their entire life and wintered in Chandler Arizona for the last 20 years.  Dale is survived by his wife Nina Mae (Allen), Sister Naomi “Kay” Bouchard, sons Morris (Andrea), Jon (Nancy), Don (Donna) and daughter Dessa Hand (Bob).  He was very proud of his 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles and Martin (Pete).

Services with be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery on July 23rd  at 3:00PM with a reception following at the family home.
