David Brink

David Merl Brink was born on July 10, 1937 to Merl and Florence Brink. He followed his parents and sister Phyllis in death on January 31, 2022. Dave is survived by his wife of 37 years Nancy, his brother Harold, his sons Mark and Doyle, his daughter Natasha and his stepdaughters Dagmar and Julia. He also has 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren that he adored. Dave will also be greatly missed by his beloved furbaby Hercules.

He was known for his love of hiking, fishing and hunting. Dave was also a huge fan of old westerns, anything with John Wayne was always a must watch. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and continued to support our Armed Forces even after he left the service. He helped his wife Nancy put together care packages for deployed service members. He was active in the church and helped out where he could. He was a quiet man who never let the opportunity for a "dad joke" slip by. There was not a child or an animal that did not gravitate towards him. He will be missed by many.

His service will be held this summer so more family members can attend. Services will be held at the Grand Junction Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and to celebrate Daves love of the outdoors the family is requesting you donate to the planting of trees in his memory.
