David Olinger

David Olinger 59, passed away on February 19, 2018 surrounded by his family in the live in care center at the VA medical center in Grand Junction CO.

Born in North Hollywood, CA he was the son of Brian Olinger and Elizabeth (Ricki) Borgeson. Step son of Johnnie Borgeson. Step mother Carole Olinger.

He worked as a self employed carpenter designing and custom building cabinets and handyman work for over 30 years.

He served his country in the Army as a young man out of high school from 1977-1979. Later in his life he served his brothers and sisters in Christ in celebrate recovery and NA/AA. He will be remembered as a great encouragement and friend to those he mentored. His family and friends will miss his kind blue eyes, loving smile and hard working hands.

He is survived by his former wives Clistie Ferrell and  Voula Beishline  His mother, Elizabeth (Ricki) Borgeson. His brother Craig Olinger. His sister and brother-in-law Tammi and Kurt Daub along with their children Amber and Brian Dollard and son Lucas, and Corey Daub. His children Jesse and April Olinger and their children Laken, Savannah Mae, and Micalah Smith. Joshua Olinger and his children Rachael and Emily Henley. David and Ashley Harris and their children Jeremiah, Caleb, Abigail and Aaron.

The memorial service will be held on March 17, 2018 at 12:30pm at Capitol Christian Center.
