David D. Rudy

July 1, 1961 to May 23, 2018

Dave Passed at home in Grand Junction, CO after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 56.

Dave was the 3rd of 4 children born to Dennis Rudy and Annegret Rudy in Wiebaden, Germany. Being raised in an Air Force family, they made their home at bases from Germany to Hawaii.

Dave graduated highschool in Omaha, NE and went into the Army for 3 years, Earning an Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon. He was forced to retire early from a permanent physical disability.

Dave was an avid sportsman, golf being his primary interest, playing at any opportunity (sometimes 36 holes a day). From this love of golf, Dave became a master Greenskeeper at Adobe Creek Golf Course where he spent nearly 15 years on the grounds crew.

He is loved and survived by his father Dennis (Carmen) of Germany, mother Annegret (John McKelvey) of Grand Junction, sister Claudia (Richard) of Salt Lake City, brothers Bruce and Marc of Grand Junction, and many nieces and nephews who David loved dearly. In Lieu of Flowers please direct all donations to Hope West Hospice Care Center.

Memorial Service will be held at Adobe Creek Golf Course Club House, Friday June 1st, from 10 am to 11 am and an Inurnment @ 3pm at the Western Colorado Veteran Cemetery
